Risks:

Counseling/Coaching may bring up a number of strong or unexpected emotions for you and difficult memories. It may also result in different ways of relating to others. These changes are typically worked through as part of the therapeutic process. There is no guarantee that counseling or a particular therapeutic method will be appropriate and beneficial for all people. If this is the case for you we will discuss alternatives and do our best to facilitate a suitable referral.

The optimal number of sessions for most people is once per week. Sessions will typically last 60 minutes. Services provided outside of regularly scheduled appointments such as report writing, preparation of records or treatment summaries, extended phone consultations, and the time spent performing any other service you may request of me are prorated. In the unusual circumstance that you are involved in a legal proceeding that requires my participation, you will be expected to pay for all of my professional time, including preparation and transportation costs, even if I am called to testify by another party.
